I had a 20+ yr old 19" RCA that was relagated to the bedroom and it finally bit the dust. I don't think flat panels be it LCD or Plasma will ever see that kind of lifespan. My friends offered me their older 27" CRT which is now set-up and working. I know its not high def but it does the trick for a while longer.

Free? Free is good! Free looks better than HD! (The Pennsylvania Dutch comes out on occasion...)
