One has to have a certain taste for um, certain genres... to like/enjoy HP books and movies...and not all of us have that...
that's just how it is - matter of taste/reading-movie preference, like in many things...

wife and I are big fans, but we think the books are a LOT better than the movies - without reading the books, IDK how one can really enjoy the movies...

As for this last movie - I thought there were better HP movies, and better movies for sure overall...it was OK...but nothing special...We still enjoyed it though...
Someday I hope to own the blu ray set.

I think I have seen two of the HP movies, and I lost intereset after the first one.
While I don't think the HP movies are essential viewing, the first 2, directed by Chris Columbus, are clearly the worst of the bunch.

Just saw this last one in RealD 3D, thought it was entertaining and an enjoyable movie overall. It'd also be nice if Regal got their act together on the theater sound around these parts.
