I didn't have any trouble getting my 890 to adjust the lights (Z-wave dimmers) as part of my watch DVD/TV activities. I only wish it would bring the lights back up when I shut it down. Create a "Resume" activity. You'll have to press that before pressing Off, but it will get you back to normal lighting.
