You're gonna actually watch the Ohio St. game!? Aren't they beefing up their record a bit playing the Sisters of Mercy Junior College? Tough game, that. I'd rather watch reruns of the Little League World Series. LOL.

Yea...I'm not thrilled about the buckeyes following the trend of most other major football schools and their scheduling of small-school OOC opponents.

In recent years, OSU always schedules 1-2 ohio 1-A teams(BGSU, Toledo, Cinci, Akron, Ohio) for OOC games to help local schools, but this is the first time in about 70 years they scheduled somebody as small as YSU. The opponent in return for their thrashing gets TV exposure and a big payday %% from the gate. Tressel won 4 national titles as the YSU head coach, so there is a reason behind the madness.

I understand it, but don't agree with it. To YSU's credit, they regularly beat MAC schools, so it's not like they're thaaat bad. I personally don't even like to see OSU playing midmajors. I'd rather see OSU play mediocre BCS conference teams for tuneups.

Of course, we cant play the Texas's of CFB every season. With that said, we have Home/Home's scheduled with USC and the Miami Hurricanes from 2008-2011.......so maybe we deserve an OOC break after playing Texas the past two seasons

So far this 3 day weekend is going great!!! Payroll screwed up and I got an extra $100 and when I called to report the problem they were too lazy to look into the problem and pretty much just said why are you questioning more money?

A bunch of friends and I are going to ride our beach cruisers over to the street fair this weekend and have some good ol American fun!

Just R&R, my brother in law is staying in Naples and asked us along, but I declined, sometimes the best vacation is a home vacation.

I've got high hopes for this place. The head-brewer is a former brewer for my local favorite, Four Peaks.

Well so far I have had a few beers...went to a friends and played beer pong along with some pool and casual drinking. Tomorrow has homework instore for me along with fixing my stupid window that rattles during loud LFE and I will be going to costco to get some good food (probably watch troll 2 tomorrow as well). Sunday probably has some work and homework along with some other fun stuff. Monday is more homework and work .

Day one of my 3 day weekend is now set I'm home with the kids until noon local time, and as soon as my wife gets home, it's off to the golf course.

When I get home at around 5pm, my wife and daughter have plans so tonight will be a 'just the boys' night in with my son.

I'll have 3 DVR'd football games to watch.

Ten vs Cal

Aaaaah yes, I have a very busy day planned. LOL I'll watch every second of the Buckeye game, but I'll probably shorten the other two games down to about 3 hours total viewing. It's amazing how fast a game progresses when you skip timeouts, huddle time, commercials, halftime, etc, etc, etc.....

Friday night was Star Gate night for me.
Today I started by mowing the lawn. Now it's music time.
Later today, friends are coming over to play some pool and sing kareokee.
Tonight will be movie night on the big screen. My big screen.
Tomorrow, more friends are coming over for a cook-out, pool and more kareokee. Then, more movies.
Monday will be my day to relax and catch up on some music. Maybe some more movies.
