I was into monster movies when I was a kid and really liked the alien design. I asked my parents for the large edition of Geiger's Necronomicon art book for Christmas and received it. Lol, my conservative parents must not have even looked through it at all, they had NO idea what they just gave me, images of unspeakable things. Looking back, that was one of the best Christmas gifts I ever received. No one could make the perverse and morbid look as beautiful as Geiger.

Wow, sad. I still have that book somewhere too. I asked for the Alien figure for Xmas and got it...and wish I still had it. I have always loved his unique and disturbing art style.

RIP Giger.

I've been visiting his museum website. You can still get a few original's from them now. Probably will not last long.

His alien was one freaky bad-*** character. I remember the first time I watched Aliens. I was 14 and I watched it with a buddy at my house, with all the lights out, late at night, no parents, after eating a dinner of donuts and Mountain Dew.

Amazing talent.
