H & K AVI 391 no sound on right channel

Hope this is right place to ask for help, I got this reciever to power two Klispch La Scalla that I got for free yep. Anyway the amp works on center and left but right is not working I have a siltronics oscope, but not sure where to input generator signal in at. And trace trying to get schematic. Thanks for any help G-Man.

Try and find the connection of the preamp stage to the power amp stage.

Inject a tone into an analog input like CD and see if you see a signal at the preamp/amp connection. If the receiver has pre outs you can connect your scope there.

That will tell you if it is preamp or amp. Next check voltages to the board not working. Then follow the signal though and find out at which stage you loose it.
