I'm looking at refurbished (cheap) receivers and will prob settle on something from Harmanaudio.com. I've always liked the H/K's and I'm intrigued with being able to set different crossover's for fronts vs rears, since I'll prob have a mixture of speaker sizes eventually. I'll only be running a 2.1 system at first, so I'm not too concerend about elaborate 7.1 dsp's. I just want a rich sound, moderate power, with basic features. The fronts will be fairly efficient, medium sized 2-way (6" cone) ported towers that run at 6ohms. My room is 15x15x9, and it's configuration prohibits 6.1 or 7.1.
That said, I'm deciding between the AVR 330 or AVR 235, both are around $300. Does anyone have a compelling reason to choose one over the other? I'm leaning towards the 330 just for a little more power. I'd also be open to other receiver suggestions that fit the description. Thanks.
