Grrr, ws-55813 Diamond Shield rattling!!!

Anyone else own a Mitsubishi ws-55813? Mine is rattling like all hell the moment I turn the audio up. It appears the problem is with the "Diamond Shield". Whats interesting is that the manual lists steps one can take to remove it. Anyone done it?

So anyway after I just took off the diamond shield-no more rattlin problems!

Wasn't half as hard as I thought it would be. It looks like the diamond shield was bowing out (this was a display model), and hence that was probably the cause of the rattling. Frankly the tv looks fine without it, so I think I'm going to keep it off..

TIME TO BLAST THE MUSIC!!! WOOO NO MORE RATTLING!!!
