<font color='#000000'>Hi, after reading a bunch of reviews on the Fluances, I decided
to give them a shot. Instead of getting the AV-HTB, I spent
a little more and went with the SX-HTB. I'm really happy with
the main's, but the center & surrounds (not as important as
the center) aren't that great. I did upgrade from a Sony
SA-VE325 cube/subwoofer setup, and the difference was a huge
improvement. With dual 6.5" woofers, the mains leave a bit to
be desired when it comes to bass - I got a Adire Rava sub
the other day and I'm REALLY enjoying that. Anyways, my
thoughts after buying the Fluances were that if I did it again, I
would probably spend as much as I could afford on a very nice
pair of mains. When the funds get refreshed, get a nice center
and use your current speakers as rears till you can afford some
nice ones. Then again, I listen to more music than I watch
movies, so the mains are more important to me.
I might sell & upgrade my center/rears, but I'm really happy
with the mains - especially for the $. Definately needs a
subwoofer tho. If you're interested in my center/rears, drop
me an email.
Regards
