OK, zombie thread revival but I figure what I have to say is more appropriate here then starting a new thread.

Yeah, we're into season three and some changes have come about and the baddies are starting to emerge but...

Their casting of Paul Reubens as The Penguins father was a stroke of genius.

I think the cast is interesting, though I agree about fish, the stories are well written and acted, and there is a reason that this series is doing better than Agents of Shield.

I think Gotham appeals to more audience than the usual comic book series (Daredevil, Arrrow, Flash, SHIELDS, etc.).

For example, my wife absolutely hates all the comic book movies (she hated Batman vs Superman) and TV series (even Daredevil), but she loves Gotham, even though she knows all the characters are comic book.

I think Gotham is fantastic. It's mature, but still has natural humor (not forced like most shows). It doesn't show any graphic violence, but it does imply it (as a necessary evil).
