Got Spring Fever!

It won't be long and I can get my 2021 Royal Enfield 650 Interceptor out from hibernation. This bike keeps me young. I'll be 66 in 5 months. Certainly that must be wrong, but it's not! I've had around 20 motorcycles. Started with Two-Stroke Yamahas. I have had 7 of those (RD's and RZ's) One was a Daytona Special that I really should have kept. One cruiser, a Honda VTX 1800. Coupla big sport bikes. My favorite of those was probably my 1996 Kawasaki GPZ 1100. I bought that one new. But this bike suits me so well. Just a perfect bike for my purposes. I tweaked it a bit. Changed/upgraded all hand and foot levers, Zard racing pipes with headers. Fuel mix gizmo (@TLS Guy helped me determine I needed that after I put on the headers). The sound of this bike is so cool. Pure ear candy! Anyway, just waxing nostalgic I guess!

Maybe profiling a bit but is that like common knowledge for a Brit?

I've had 3 bikes, all Yamaha so the RZ, RD bikes would be my favorites but the Royal Enfield is super cool. I've never seen one though. Congrats on that.

We've unfortunately already got spring weather here right now (been mid-60s during day last coupla weeks). While I have had little overall motorcycle experience over the years, have been out on my e-moto quite a bit, taking advantage of snow-free and dry singletrack...

That's pretty cool. I had two dirt bikes in the early 80's .

Some other things I did was install street tracker bars. They are a little wider and flatter. Plus they are black and that looks much better than the chrome original bars. Grip Puppies, which are fat hand grips. Bar-end mirrors. 22" Madstad windshield. The luggage rack and bag, plus a larger bag that uses the same mounting clips. The original owner put on the LED turn signals. Very bright and you almost don't even see them when not blinking. He also added an upgraded Royal Enfield touring seat. You can obviously do mods 'till the cows come home, but I don't have to add anything now. It is the way I want it now.
