So im fairly new to home theater audio and was just looking for some advice and/or thoughts on what i can do with what i have already purchased. Also for advice for what i should and may still purchase. I have owned a couple theater in box type stuff that was supposed to be top of the line for what they were but after hearing a few set ups here and there I decided to start to peice together my own. To preface, I will use this for 75 % movie and 25% music. After going to a few local dealers I liked the sound of the CM9's and almost went for the diamonds but the sig other convinced me otherwise. I have a pioneer sc-67 and the cm-9's so far. Going to add the center 2 from b&w cm series also. Im up in the air about the sub and rears but might stay within the cm line. I have read a lot about the cm9s needing a lot of power so i was looking at amps and saw a few but the emotiva xpa line stood out to me. I guess my first set of questions would be about using a seperate powered amp for the fronts and if so, what would be the best channeled amp to get. Another would be about the entire set up of the system being that I am fairly new to this. I am familiar with the hooking up and running of the devices off my reciever but thats about the extent of it. Any advice would be cool and i have read a lot and talked to a few reps and the guy who sold me the speakers offered to come out and look but i like to gather as much info on something as possible also. Plus ive heard different things from different reps.

The SC-67 claims 140W of output and 4 ohm capability, but it is a digital amp, so I am not sure what to make of that. I think we had discussed a similar Pioneer receiver here recently and came to the conclusion that the rating was optimistic, but should still be able to handle a typical room.

Sounds like half your battle is won - you found speakers you like, and the receiver is in hand, and you already have a plan; and a good one in my book.

For the sub, what's the budget and how big is your room? I would say B&W is probably not the way to go for the sub in terms of getting the most mileage out of your money.

For Center you need to match it closely to fronts - aka same brand and series aka CM Centre 2

For rear - the choice is much more flexible, especially for movies

Sub as John mentioned - You will be much better off going with ID brand.
We can steer you in right direction if we would know size of your room (total volume) including any open spaces (kitchen etc..)

Room has three walls with a fourth sort of half side wall ledge. If you were facing the tv/setup and what not the wall to the right would be the half wall/entrance. the room is something like 25x18. Need to get the exact measurements tonight. As for budget on the sub... it varys really, i could easily save up for a couple of months and be able to spend up to 3-4k on one but that seems excessive i think... i have heard from a friend of maybe getting 2 subs or something like that. And yes the CM centre 2 is the one i am looking at and have heard nothing but good things about, i leave town for 2 weeks soon but plan on adding the center when i get back. But i wanted to try and order the amp if i needed one before i left. Emotiva seems to have good amps with good pricetags but i wanted to try and plan ahead and get something that will stay in the set up. Right now its just the 2 fronts but everything starts somewhere.

Don't underestimate the power of the deep end side :)
I think your (large) room and you will appreciate good sub, I will throw a number here - don't get scared - about 1k is the price point where really good subs start.
Couple of excellent options:
SVS PB12/PC12-Plus and Rythmic FV15HP
or if you want a even more bass and don't care much for looks - this monster:

Note - it's passive and requires external amp to work
