Would my Orion analog crossover work, or does it have to be digital (DSP)?:D
AN analog crossover would work, but not that one. You'd have to design it from scratch. The digital crossover lets you input the settings/filter transfer functions in the instruction manual and "set it and forget it".

I'd imagine it could be done passively too.

So they charge $7K for labor?
I beleive it's gonna be brick and mortar not internet direct but don't quote me.

Hmm someone should make a mini version of this. Or maybe the same size, bigger drivers but w/ half the amount of drivers.

I always liked line-array speakers, but never got the chance to own any..
That would defeat a lot of the design concepts behind this speaker (virtual 10 foot constant beamwidth, ultra wide, consistent horizontal dispersion).

Would be cool if there were a RAAL 15-15 that could be used though. I'd imagine that would spike cost up tenfold though.

With some tuning, im sure one could make it so you get very similar performance @ half the price..if only i had the time:rolleyes:
