Google Chromecast pre-empting my Marantz SR5015

I just got a new SR5015 and hooked it up to my Samsung UN65RU740DFXZA TV.

All was fine UNTIL I plugged in my Google Chromecast into an available HDMI port on the back of the TV. All of the sudden chaos ensued.

The TV defaults to showing the Chromecast source whenever you power the TV on.

In addition, I can't access the SR5015 setup menu.

Anyone have this same behavior happen to them?

You can't see the menu for the SR5015 because your TV is displaying the input for the Chromecast. Try plugging the Chromecast into your SR5015 instead, or just use the TV remote to change the HDMI input on the TV as needed.

Agree, headaches will continue with a direct connection to the TV. Connect it to the receiver. Samsungs are good about Universal Remote Control functionality through receivers to devices so you should be able to control the Chromecast with the TV remote controller even through the receiver and also make automatic source changes and volume adjustments in the receiver using HDMI-CEC(AnyNet+ in the TV).
