Please help. I use Google Chrome browser and everytime I read a thread, BING popups are EVERYWHERE....ANy idea on how to stop these?
Firefox with Adblock Plus and you will never see another pop-up or banner ad again.Use Firefox?![]()
Only if you setup AdBlock Plus properly. I'm continually adjusting the block fields as new ads and in-line text scripts show up.Firefox with Adblock Plus and you will never see another pop-up or banner ad again.
Really? I can't remember the last time I had to add anything to AB+.Only if you setup AdBlock Plus properly. I'm continually adjusting the block fields as new ads and in-line text scripts show up.

I keep finding new ad providers or tiny tweaks to their URLs that let the ads slip through. My biggest complaint are the intellitext windows that popup when you scroll over a word. Those are continually changing.Really? I can't remember the last time I had to add anything to AB+.
But far as I can remember it was as simple as right clicking and adding image to AB+, then a quick edit to change the image name to *.*
Could you please give me a URL that has the intellitext?I keep finding new ad providers or tiny tweaks to their URLs that let the ads slip through. My biggest complaint are the intellitext windows that popup when you scroll over a word. Those are continually changing.

I wasn't seeing it with AB+ for a long time and then it started creeping back in.Could you please give me a URL that has the intellitext?
I do not see any of that with Firefox and AB+, but do with Opera and IE.
Interesting I have not ran into this with FF&AB+, I guess none of the sites I visit use their service.I wasn't seeing it with AB+ for a long time and then it started creeping back in.
This is the one I have:
http://images.intellitxt.com (can't unformat this. It takes you to vibrantmedia . com)
Also look for kontera, adinterax, and pointroll.
I can drop the whole text file to you if you want. It'll have to happen over email since the number of lines is too long for using the mail service on Audioholics and you can't add attachments.

I don't believe Audioholics has ever been at fault for this. Typically user error by not understanding how some ad providers work (using cookies...).We're not doing it... thank goodness...
