Good Sound Card for Music would be...?

Just wanted some input on the purchase of a new sound card for my computer. I'm personally thinking about M-Audio's Revolution Cards or perhaps the Audiophile. I do some gaming too, so the Revolution might be a better bet. Any other ideas?

I use the Hercules Fortissimo III 7.1 card. I run an optical cable out of it to my home stereo to play my mp3's. Sounds great.

M-Audio Revolution 7.1 is Great!!!

It's a great sound card and you can't go wrong with it...unless you're a gamer.

Most games, like it or not, favor Creative Labs' Audigy2 ZS...it doesn't mean Audigy 2 is better but if you are going to play video games and enable high-quality sound processing (EAX and the like..BTW only Audigy 2 ZS supports EAX 4.0...M-Audio doesnt support EAX 4.0 or even 3.0 - not sure about EAX 3.0 though...i maybe wrong), then you may have a performance hit with M-Audio's slightly higher CPU Usage...the Audigy 2 ZS will let your games run a little smoother and get you higher Frames Per Second, even if only by 3-4%...numbers could vary depending on your CPU/3D Card etc...

However, if you don't really care about Video Gaming, you CAN'T go wrong with the M-Audio :)
