Good looking Power cord

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to get a good looking power cord? I should state at the beggining that I am not looking to "upgrade" my power cord for performance, but only upgrade the look of one which I can not hide. It is to replace the one going to my subwoofer.

Again I am only concerned about looks.

thanks

How good are you with DIY?

Can you just cover the old one with Techflex?

What exactly do you mean by good looking? Something other than black? Maybe you could find cable in the color you want and make one with parts from Parts Express? Or just get something to cover it?

Will the stainless braid expand enough to go over the end of the cable? The plastic stuff like that comes in most colors and should be able to fit over the end of the cable. They also make one that is split that I think uses something like velcro to close.

I ordered the Crome XC covering and some rubber shrink wrapp to terminate. I will post some pictures of the before and after

I haven't worked with the chrome mylar stuff before. They say to use a hot knife for cutting so the ends don't fray.

I've seen it used in show cars before. It looks nice over hoses.

There's a version that doesn't need a hot knife. I don't know if it comes in the chrome or not though, but I thought I saw that advertised at one point.

It is the CleanCut from Techflex...it can be cut with a pair of scissors, it still does fray a little, so the ends should be heated with a lighter.

I only care about the one end which shows, so Ill just cut it with anything. I also ordered some plastic ends that you head with a lighter which shrinks around the ends to terminate.
