Well, if you look at the sigs, the only common item appears to be the subwoofer (and I don't even know what the "/2" means, so maybe even that is not the same).

I think $900 is a reasonable starting figure for asking price, but I do agree to some extent in that I'm not jumping all over it either. OTOH, while I'm not always current with street prices, if the discount is only 10%, the seller got that for a great price indeed, if bought new. I don't think I've ever heard of an Onkyo/Integra pre/pro selling as new for 1k before. Though I have seen for much less than that, a refurbed, I think it was 885.

No its not my 886. Just purchased mine for $1199 so I would say the deal is a good price. So thats how I figure Dude.
