Boe, most splitters are basically the same as far as features and functionality. Unless you are doing something specific. If you are on digital cable with a cable modem you will want to make sure you get a high frequency splitter in the 1ghz or higher range. http://www.avcablesource.com/CABLETVSplitter.html Hope that helps
