Hey all,

I don't have any education as an engineer (Am actually a classical musician) but would like to learn the basics to better understand how things work. Now it feels like I'm fiddling around too much when reading what people say stuff about electronics.

I own a Kobo, so if people have material in mind that is for sale on the Kobo store that'd be very interesting.

Sound Reproduction: Loudspeakers and Rooms, 3rd Edition is going to be the one you want, if you want to understand how to get good sound in your room. It talks about the whys and hows, and you don't have to be an engineer to understand it.

If you don't need something that comprehensive, just dig through some of the articles on this website from the 'AV Research' or 'Home Theater Setup.' There is a ton of articles there for beginners through advanced users, for whatever subject you want to know about. Audioholics also has some e-books you can buy.

I was just gonna post that Shady. Amazon keeps suggesting it to me and I keep seeing that it's a must read.
