Good AV Receiver for Music

I bought Celestion AV2000 AV Receiver with Energy Encore speaker system (6 speakers) and found that it's bad for music.
Therefore, I want to change another AV Receiver &amp; add 2 main speakers for 7.1 system. Anyone can suggest a good AV Receiver? My usage is 70% for music &amp; 30% for movie. Some review recommend Marantz SR7300ose + B&amp;W 603S3. However, the speakers are too big for HK's apartment. Any comments?? &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;

No. I think 5.1 is enough for my 18 square meter living room. But I just don't want to waste the speakers. Should I seperate the HT &amp; music system and buy a new audio system? Yes, I hope so. However, my room space is limited and my wife must complian it... you know!
$2500 for bookshelf speakers &amp; AV Amp. Again, any suggestion.</font>

<font color='#000000'>For me, what is good for music is always good for HT. &nbsp;The reverse isn't always true. &nbsp;I have a system that's excellent for music for which I can just go Stereo Mode thereby bypassing the surround processors and speakers. Ofcourse having separate set-ups is just as good, though you'd need another investment for that.

I consider Harman Kardon, Rotel and Onkyo receivers excellent for musical reproduction. &nbsp;Especially their flagship models. &nbsp;In a small room, those slim, highly detailed and dynamic Mordaunt-short speakers, expecially the MS912 and MS914 to be excellent mates. &nbsp;Just my 2 cents.</font>

<font color='#0000FF'>If you like detailed, transparent and accurate music go for Yamaha's Top Art receivers starting from the RXV-740 onwards and combine them with bookshelfs from Paradigm, Canton or Yamaha. Marantz too is very good for music and very close to Yamaha's sonic character.</font>

Thanks for all your advices. In the same time, I've got the reply from &quot;Energy&quot; Engineer. He highly recommend Denon 5700 (It's factory equipment for testing) and so as it's 4000 &amp; 3000 series. Secondly, he prefers Yamaha high end model.</font>
