As far as on-axis FR is concerned, that looks better than most tower speakers out there.
It isn't +/- 1dB like the Revel Salon 2, but then again it isn't $22K.
And most speakers, even those over $10K, cannot do 30Hz @ -3dB from 90dB @ 2 meters (i.e. B&W 800D, Martin Logan, Magnepan, etc.).
I'm sure there will be GoldenEar bashers like DefTech bashers, but I think they will sound great. Sandy Gross knows how to make speakers for the middle-class folks.
