Have never had dipolar speakers but have a chance to pickup some genesis 500s. Have several questions. They are going into a 24x24 basement (gameroom) which has painted block walls. No dedicated listening seat as a pool table sits in the middle of the room. Speakers will likely only have about a foot of clearance from the back wall and maybe 2 to 3 ft clearance from the left wall. Mostly pop rock and blues will be played here. Will they sound bad in this configuration? Is there anything that can be done to help them in this setting or would I be better off with normal speakers and or front ported speakers? Any advice helpful. Thank you.
