Hi Gene!!

Just wondering which outriggers you use on the SVTRS. Are you happy with them? They look better than the ones the speakers are shipped with. At least they look sturdier…

Thanks!!

Question, does the factory riggers have a center point of contact or just 4 corners?

They look like the Iso-acoustics Titans that cost $1K per speaker! :D

Those aren’t at his smart home but they look identical to the ones I’ve seen on videos of the smart home…

You mean same feet?

If you want good outriggers, it may be worth contacting Soundocity and see if they can do something for you. They used to do custom work and have both "bar" style outriggers that will go 1 each across the front and the back of the Speakers. They also have advertised on their site solid 1-piece bottoms milled to fit your needs.

For a stack like that, I can understand not "trusting" corner attached mounts, but I would strongly suspect that if RBH is including them then they are easily rated to hold the, what... 400-500# load?... because if not, that would be a huge liability for them as a company.

I've seen some that are just designed to corner mount by drilling into the cabinet and using wood screws to attach, but thoise are meant for a much lower weight, IMO.

Seeing a bottom pic of what you are talking about would be cool, but not worth the effort to take the whole stack apart, I suspect. :)

Ha! I’m dreading the moment I have to take them apart to change the floors in the room they’re in. Obviously not a one man job. It was a real pain aligning them. Maybe it was my OCD but nonetheless. There’s nothing wrong with the ones they come with. Would be nice to have something that would make them easier to move around a bit to adjust their placement.

Aren't we still waiting on the tests for the ISO Acoustics stuff?

Oh, those look different than the Isoacoustics . So something else.

If those are the RBH “SVTR Outrigger Set”, then they retail $240 per speaker, so $480 for 2 speakers.

We’ll know when @gene tells us what they are. :D

I complained about the speaker being unstable with just feet so they came up with the outriggers. The fancy metal cones and caps is part of UNRIVALED and you can probably order it.

I just sent a job to sendcutsend.com after 15 minutes with adobe illustrator that look like those. 1/4" hot rolled steel with tapped M6 holes and powder coated. Less than $200 for two, plus $30 for 8 large spikes on ebay. Felt my little floor standers were too wobbly.
