Very nice and clean set-up. But you did forget the surround pictures. (However, I know you may be changing them. So post new pictures when they are set-up)

Thanks for posting these pictures, by showing your set-up it may give others an idea on how to set their system up.

I will try to get that disc out to you soon.....
Thanks Brian....I just added the pictures of my rear speakers.

Very nice setup. How do you like those outlaw m-blocks? I've been thinking about buying a couple.

Thanks....I love the Outlaw monoblocks....A definite improvement over my Pio 1014....The best way to describe the difference is it is a fuller fatter sound.

It looks awesome. The recessed audio rack looks fantastic and it looks like you've got a heck of a ht brewing. Love the TV and stand as well.

Nice color. What is that, "mustard?" It really "pops" the system. Adds nice ambiance.

We painted our entire downstairs "peanut butter" and it really made a difference. Antique white gets old after awhile.

So are you going to trade up your Vette for the new Z06 when it's released? The published specs truely make it a supercar. I just hope they don't decide to price it over $70k. In any event, I'm sure demand will take care of that issue.

How about some pics of your Z06?

corvette is great but...

its still not a super car. the dodge viper on the other hand, is. mmmmm 10 cylinders.

back to audio..

ok it is 15inch. How big iis your room, and how well can that subwoofer produce low bass in it? I heard it in a demo room, maybe 15 by 15, and its destroyed it.

The color is called Flower Field and yes it really makes things pop especially with black molding.Actually I have the new Z06 already on order and will probabaly be keeping my current Z06.It will have a 7 liter 427 cubic inch 505 HP engine. They started building the new Z06 last week. The base price is 65.8K.Here are some pics of my current Z06...

Here is me at the track

Not a supercar....well maybe not in price BUT it will put to shame most of them. There is a track in Germany called the Nurburgring that is 14.2 miles and 170 turns. The world uses this track to compare cars true all out performance. The new Z06 did the 2nd best time of all production cars period. It beat the likes of the Lamborghini Murcielago and Gallardo,Mercedes-McLaren SLR,and totally destroyed the Viper.....Ok back to audio......I have an open floor plan so it is about 4200 cu ft..that is about 28x17x9.I think the sub has been measured to 20HZ so with its power it goes very low and loud.Remember the most important thing about the sub is placement. If you move it around the room its sound will change dramatically.I am very happy with its performance.

I should have said "supercar specs." The Viper is a mean looking machine, but pound for pound, the '06 Z06 is faster.

2006 Corvette Z06
Base price: $65,800
Curb weight: 3150 lb
Manufacturer's performance ratings:
Zero to 60 mph: 3.8 sec
Standing 1/4-mile: 11.7 sec @ 127 mph
EPA city driving: 16 mpg
EPA highway driving: 22 mpg

2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe
Estimated base price: $86,000
Curb weight: 3450 lb
Zero to 60 mph: 3.9 sec
EPA city driving: 12 mpg
EPA highway driving: 20 mpg
Standing 1/4-mile: 12.1 sec @ 121 mph

Those are pretty amazing times in the quarter, as my 1670cc (102 cu) Yamaha Warrior bike will only do 12.9 seconds @ 101 mph. This bike weighs 606 lbs dry! Let me tell you - that's flying! I'm one of the few guys on a bike who knows what vehicles no to toy with. Those are two of them. ;)

You know, one thing I've always wondered about Polk is why they make their grilles with a plastic mesh. I would think that'd affect the sound very audibly.\

And I really dig the color. It looks quite classy.
