Hey AH,

I’m looking for a good subwoofer for gaming especially Call of duty.

I currently have the BW606s2 bookshelf speakers in a 2.0 system powered by a Marantz 5015.
I’m down for dual subs.

I do like the svs line of subwoofers if that help.

The question is how loud do you want the subs to get and how deep in bass do you want them to dig? SVS subs are very good for the money but they are not the only game in town for sure. How much are you looking to spend? Do you have size restrictions?

So now we have subs "good for" music vs movies and now gaming, too? :) Like shadyJ asks.....

Honestly, most music doesn't dig below 40Hz, so if a manufacturer made a sub geared for music that wasn't tuned so very deeply, I can understand that. Wouldn't be my preference, but I understand it. Gaming sound mixes, on the other hand, can dig deep, and should probably have the same extension targets as something made for modern movie sound mixes.

Well the way I look at it is that I don't want my sub to be limited by "most" music :)
