You guys all crack me up. It's so funny how you cat lovers all think that your cat's are the cutest things on the planet. Cats aren't my thing, but more power to ya.

Why do cats seem to hate water so much?

I am not really that much of a cat person, but my girl saw the thread which meant our cat was getting posted. The cat has grown on me but I am more a dog person we just don't have time for one so I settled with some form of pet and got my HT in the process . Most cats are genetically predisposed to dislike water because they spend so much time cleaning themselves the water actually feels dirty to them. Others like the breed Abyssinian actually enjoy swimming. My cat doesn't like getting really wet but loves to splash water sitting in a bowl...very odd.

I am a dog person too, but only have cats right now. None of them are actually my cats, two are my g/f's and the other is my daughter's. The oldest one my g/f has had since he was born, the Siamese was rescued from one of those crazy cat ladies and my daughter's was a stray that her friends were going to take to the pound so we kept him. They are very entertaining, but not the same level of companionship as a dog.

I was going to post that one, but wasn't sure if it would pass standards here...there is another one simiar to it too.

I had to take one of the cats to the vet and he got a cone....SOOO going to take pics of him when I get home. I'm sure it is great for 2ch listening though.

Aww, poor little fella! Is he ok, JGarcia? Actually, I have never seen a clear one of those. They used to be solid and the animal couldn't see to the side. What a good idea. I hope the little guy, or gal, is on the mend.

He had a rash and was licking himself bald in one spot, so they put him on meds and gave him the cone. He's doing much better now, but will still have to wear that thing for a few more days...and he hates it.

I have the whole video that that cat attacking the baby comes from - some funny stuff in it.
