Full 7.1 Surround Sound Speaker Set $1500 Budget

Like the title states, I'm looking for a 7.1 surround sound speaker set for $1500 or less. Looked at Polk RM8 Series as well as the new Polk Blackstone Series and reading mixed reviews. I'd like to stick with the same brand. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Current Setup is as follows:

TV - Panasonic Viera TC-P50VT25
AVR - Pioneer VSX-1120-K
Cable Box - Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300HD
Playstation 3
Xbox 360

On your budget to get best result you should stick to 5.1 rather than getting crappy 7.1... I personally consider anything from polk on your budget

Do you have any other restrictions like towers vs bookshelfs ? Placement against the wall or able to put 1-2ft distance ?
How big is your space? Is it open to other spaces?

I would not be too concerned about 7.1 - I would really look at
HSU, SVS or NHT - and not think about the Polk system.

HSU and SVS will have the better sub as far as the lowest octaves.
If the lowest and loudest is not the most important, then take a
look at NHT as an option
