The NS-A2836 utilizes two 8" paper cone woofers, 4" high compliance midrange, and 1" ferro fluid cooled mylar dome tweeter to deliver powerful, clean, and accurate sound over the entire audible audio spectrum.
The NS-A2836 is magnetically shielded so that it can be placed near a TV or video monitor and not degrade the picture quality.
I've lovingly had these in home for a few years. These simply speakers sound great. Terrific mains for HT. Produces a wide range of the audible spectrum. Bass is great w/ 2- 8" woofers. In fact, if you had four of these, you wouldn't need a sub
The speakers DO have minor damage to the tweeters. I've repaired them to the best of my ability. Sound quality is not sacrificed and unnoticed with grilles in place. Cabinets also have minor knicks around the edges, however, they are almost undetectable. Overall in great shape.
These speakers are currently listed FS in Craigs list and Ebay for $199 and up.
