I'm going have to sell these before I even get them but I hope to pass on a deal to a member here.
These are extremely heavy so a member on the east coast (near Virginia) would be ideal.

Details: This modified Primus 362 pair is a fully active 4 way using two active crossovers (DCX2496 + CX2310) which are included in the price.
Per cabinet, is a sealed JL W7 8", two MMD 7" midbasses, one 4" MMD mid-range and a wide dispersion ribbon tweeter. Cabinet design is 3/4" MDF outer shell, 1/4" visco-elastic dampening core, 1/2" re-enforced concrete and extreme density 1.2" oak bracing. The bottom half of the cabinet has an additional 1.5" MDF layer with embedded steel braces, bringing the bottom half to 2.25" thick. This is a relatively low resonance design, but mass is relatively high.
Finish:- The finish is a beautiful koa wood veneer, with a sheen/natural shine. The earlier image of the cabinet did not have the finishes applied yet. The back of the cabinet is a textured black. The front is a high gloss silver paint with clear coat
Suggested amplification: is 8 ohm stable stereo amp on the tweeters of 75 x2 minimum.
Mid-range, 100x2 at 8 ohm stable, minimum.
Midbass, 250x 2 at 4 Ohms stable minimum.
Woofers need 450 x 2 at 4 ohms stable minimum.
- Using less power will reduce the dynamics below the intended target range. I think Matt has well over $2000 into these speakers, but I don't remember the exact figure. They are near complete, with the only thing left to do is make the adjustable base stands, install drivers and design the crossover programs for the DCX crossover.
Shipping- If the person wants to have them shipped, please realize, you will have to pay for Chris to make a special crate, and pay freight shipping for probably a 450-550 lb load. Otherwise you would have to pick them up in person. Chris(the designer/builder) lives in Hurt, VA ,which is not very far from Lynchburg, VA.
Full range retail speakers that have similar measured/objective performance will start at about $15,000 USD if one picks the product very carefully.
Chris on this build:
It's actually difficult to call this a Primus 362. As this is really a completely new speaker that happens to use the 362 cabinet as part of the new cabinet and a couple of the drivers from the original 362, with a superior ribbon tweeter and enhanced bass using an added powerful/linear woofer. The original drivers used are not a compromise in any way, or I would not have retained them. The mid-range, overall(with it's SPL limits) will easily produce electrostatic transparency. It is a ceramic sandwhich design and is acting as a perfect piston up to about 10kHz(and it's crossed at 3kHz). The twin 6.5" midbass drivers operate from 100Hz-450Hz, and move plenty of air in this bandwidth to provide huge dynamic output. The 8" driver -- don't be deceived. This is a JL Audio W7. The finest 8" driver in the world. It has insane displacement and a motor with linearity that is unmatched in this size driver class. It produces the equivalent output of a high quality 12" driver when powered with a large enough amplifier. F3 is about 35Hz, with very high output ability. You can use it down to 25 Hz, but the large dynamics will be limited, therefor I recommend keeping a high pass filter activated on the digital crossover that placed F3 at about 35Hz(completely sufficient for music program).
