I am offering my Parasound JC-1 monoblocks up for sale. Asking $3950 + shipping for the pair. (MSRP $7000/pair).
I originally had 9 of these amps. I was very happy with my setup soundwise. These amps sound great and leaves nothing more to wish when it comes to the sound quality. Unfortunately they output a lot of heat (a single pair would not be a problem, but nine of them is just too much). The poor air conditioning in my media room combined with the hot North Carolina summer has convinced me that I need to switch to amplifiers that emit less heat.
7 amps are sold, but I still have one pair left. (Of course I saved the best pair for last). This pair was purchased at the same time and was used for driving the left and right front speakers. The serial numbers are in the 17xx range.
I am the original owner. I purchased the amps from an authorized Parasound dealer in July 2005. The amps were delivered to me A-stock in factory sealed box.
The amps are in flawless new-like condition. Both functionally and cosmetically. There are no scratches, no dings, no stains, no fingerprints, no flaws whatsoever. Those familiar with Parasound Halo know that fingerprints in time can etch into the front panel finish. I have made sure to always clean off any fingerprints immediately to avoid this from happening. The manual has never been taken out of the protective bag. The rack ears have not been used and are still sealed in their bags. The amps come with all original accessories (manual, trigger cable, rack ears, rack screws, power cord, plastic bag, felt bag).
I will ship the amplifiers in the original double boxes with jacket, exactly like packed at the factory. The double boxes are strapped with brand new straps. (The original straps are not safe for re-shipping as the straps stretch during shipping and should only be used once). I will ship worldwide (FedEx or UPS) and reconfigure for 220/230/240V on request.
