FS: Behringer A500 Amps

I have two lightly used Behringer A500 amps that were used in both stereo and bridged mode for a little more than a month for my mains. I came across a deal I couldn't pass up on a multichannel amp, so I no longer have a need for these. These are good amps in stereo mode providing approx. 140wpc (8 O Ohms), a substantial improvement over most entry to mid-level receiver's amps. In bridged mode, they are absolute monsters at approx. 360wpc. I've had a few good 2 and 5 channel amps and none of them put out the sheer clean (distortion free) power these do in bridged mode, I was pretty amazed.

My intention was to buy another to round out my front sound stage with them all bridged, but before I could, I came across my current amp. As such, I no longer have a need for these and would like them to go to a good home :).

They're in almost new condition, one I believe has some minor scratches on it, but its still in very good condition. I am also including two RCA to 1/4 plug connectors for each that were used to eliminate hum. Depending upon their location, these may or may not be needed. I didn't in my setup in one location, but did in another due to some RF interference, I believe.

I am looking to get $300 shipped for the pair of them. If sold separately, $150 each not including shipping, which should be relatively cheap.

I will send actual pictures via PM or e-mail on request. Any questions, please let me know... -TD

Question---

You mention "two RCA to 1/8 plug connectors for each that were used to eliminate hum." Where you get these from? Or did you mean RCA to XLRs?

Very nice amps for the price!
Thanks.

Correction: RCA to 1/4 plug...

Oops, my bad. I meant RCA to 1/4 plug connectors, which I was able to pick up from Radio Shack.

Sorry for the confusion, here's a pict of the connector... -TD

A500 Back Panel

Actually they are 1/4" connectors. The A500's have balanced input that are XLR and 1/4" TRS. I also had a hum problem with my A500's. I ended up running a grounding wire between all of the amp chassis together with the pre/pro and it went away.

This is a good deal!

Any interest in these? I may toss them on eBay, but I may just keep them if I don't get any inquiries... -TD
