I bought both of these from Future Shop almost 2 years ago

Both Items are in excellent shape and work very well. The only reason I am selling either of these is because i have upgraded to a 7.1 amp and a larger more powerful sub.
I have all orginal reciepts, packing materials, boxes and owners manuals.

Your prices are a bit high. If you really want to sell your equipment you need to look around and see what the prices for the stuff you are selling is at online retailers. I know for a fact that the Yamaha 5650 can be bought for around $200 brand new.

Sorry, these prices are in Canadian dollars:(

Although when the reciever came out up here it retailed for about $650 CAD

I am flexible on prices, and the warranty is good throughout North America since Future shop is owned by Best Buy.

Echo,

I live in Coquitlam, and that subwoofer you have might just be the perfect thing for my brothers setup. I broke his subwoofer doing a FR sweep  , but it was because it was pure junk. He wants another 10inch, and I owe him, so maybe this will be a nice suprise.

I was wondering how you thought the subwoofer sounded. Did it extend deep? etc etc.

Please reply soon, as now is the only time I might be able to purchase this.

Thanks,

Sheepstar

The Sub plays fairly deep. As i mentioned in the PM we should really try it out in the environment that it will be spending its time in if you purchase it. so trying it out at your place is probably the best way to go. I did purchase a 12" velodyne to get even further extension than the Athena, but i was not dipleased with the Athena's performance at all. I found the Athena Sub to be resoanbly accurate not just a noise maker.

Thats good to hear. Its for my brother, and he likes tight bass, mostly for music, so a bottom octave hitter isn't on the top of his list. Once I hear back, I shall contact you again.
