This one I can't see.
Now I'm freaked out.
That's really a shame. It's a smiley hitting a donkey with a baseball bat in the unpleasant area.

I'm beginning to wonder how many extras I'm missing on the forum...

Never had a speeding ticket. Two warnings from high school and college. ;)

Technology can be such a boon and a burden at the same time.

This is my ride when I dream:

Oh man, I see it now. I've got loading issues ... don't ask.

In my 20's I had a stack of unpaid tickets from different police departments all over the States and Canada. I got one from the OPP on the Don Valley Pkwy where I was probably going 120 mph when I first saw the cop but by the time he got the radar on me I slowed the bike down to under 75. My passenger was hanging on for dear life trying not to fly over top of me. I didn't have my court papers on me saying that I didn't need to be locked up until my trial. The cop still let me go with a ticket and a warning about how slowing down like that could very easily have cost me and my passenger our lives. Loosing her would have been a tragedy. Now I drive like an old woman and haven't been stopped in a decade.

I'm more annoyed at the unspecified capabilities of these things from the onsight. It's one thing if people are upfront about what the true capabilities and uses are. It's another to keep it hidden until a news agency uncovers it.

-Glad you and the lady are still with us!

It's horse, my man. As in, beating a dead horse.

I liked your interpretation of it, though! :D
I s'pose you're right. I kinda like the thought of beating a jacka$$!

(I need to find that one at a different site. I still can't see my own smiley's that went awol.)
WTF?! Now they're back...I'm having loading issues...

Just Google "beating a dead horse smiley", and you'll find it quick.

The lady and I were as it turns out were not very upfront about our uses for one another. We were keeping things hidden from one another. I think her friends who knew about her regular boyfriend referred to me as Ninja Head or something because of the bike. The Basteria. :D

Just for you, Pat, I put it on my Photobucket site.

I'll be taking it down in a couple of days, though.

Why didn't I think of that? Save the thing and then post it somewhere reliable...

"Backers of the legislation complained that the cameras are really designed to generate revenue and not to improve public safety."
"Rep. Eric Meyer, D-Paradise Valley, voted to keep the system alive, saying he believes it saves lives."

You decide????

I say keep it. I feel more like 'I'm watching you' than 'They're watching me'.
Now that I drive like an old woman I'm not worried about tickets and I stopped having sex while driving years ago. I feel like now that I've had my fun, you can suffer with an oppressive system. Just imagine how cranky I'm gonna be when I get really old.

I think your crankiness is gonna stem from something else!

On a side note, of course it's a revenue gimmick for the state. Arizona is already ~$2 billion in the whole. Not nearly as much as California since we don't have the population numbers they do.

I work in Phoenix and am glad that there are people in governent right now fighting to get rid of photo rader. In fact it has already been banned in Pinal County. What I find amusing is if you do get a tickt via the mail, you can just throw it away and unless an officer directly hands you the ticket, then the ticket isnt enforcable and null and void after 90 days. I havent gotten any, but if I did, i would just toss it and hope some overworked understaffed officers wouldn't have the time to get to me. From what I read they can't even get to 1 out of every 100 people ticketed. To me it's a waste of money and only the foolish are actually paying the fine. Don't get me started on the new AZ law on license plate bracket law either. Just another scam our state government is implementing to generate revenue instead of taxing all the dang snowbirds.

Yup, just another "quick fix" revenue generator the local government has come up with in the name of "public safety".
