Found a deal, should I jump on it?

As some might know, I'm looking to replace my L/C/R in my theater system. I was set on getting the new eD cinema-12 speakers but while browsing the net I found a set of used M&K S-150 including the angled center for $1500(basically half off). We're only talking a couple hundred dollar difference so price isn't a concern.

I'm really tempted as you don't see these on the used market very often.

I've never heard them but they get rave reviews all over the net. I take it these are the originals? What condition are they in (drivers etc.)?

Are you thinking of doing a acoustic transparent screen with these behind it or put these on the wall?

From Techradar:
Décor dilemma

Anything good enough for Rick is good enough for us, but remember these are for dedicated cinema rooms only, where the lights are dimmed and you won't be able to see the speakers mounted on walls via their threaded bushings.

As they only come in Henry Ford's choice of shades, they are meant to be heard and yet visually ignored. In normal living rooms, they'll look as domestic as a HumVee in khaki. But if you're planning a full-on cinema install, do yourself a favour and audition this system.

If they are used, I would want more than 50% off.:D

I mean brand new is probably 30-35% off MSRP anyway.

So I think used should be 60-65% off.:D

+1 - Do a poker face and low ball them at first - at 75% and later agree on 60-65% of msrp ;)

They appear to be in good condition. I've been thinking about it today and decided I'm going to stick with my original plan and get the eD's. I really want to see what all the hoopla is with compression drivers.
