Hi all. I have noticed something strange in the setup menu recently and am wondering if anyone else has the same issue. Since I occasionally listen to SACDs, I have to calibrate the speaker settings for analog audio. When I select the +10db On for the sub setting under Audio Setup, Multichannel, Channel Level, the sub level increases to +10db. From here you can decrease it to whatever you like. In my case, I adjusted it to +7. After doing so, I back out to the main setup screen and go to Digital, where I activate DenonLink for all my digital audio. Here where it gets goofy. If I were to turn DLink off and go back to Audio, Multichannel, Channel Leve and look at the sub level it will now read -7db even though the +10db setting still says On. All other speaker level settings remain unchanged.

Since this is occuring, how do I know the sub settings are being saved. If they are saved, why then does the level change to a negative when DLink is turned off?

I just installed the latest Firmware upgrade (-9) but it did not help.

Does anyone else have this same issue?

Thanks,
John

This is a problem I noted with the DVD-5900. Anytime you toggle Dlink it also resets your channel trims. I don't think they have a fix for this but are aware of it.

Gene,
thanks for the reply. Knowing that it is there is simply annoying eventhough I rarely listen to SACDs.
