hey just thought i would share my thoughts on fluance . i have had mine for about a month now and i have watched a lot of movies and played some games and i have to say i love them i had a set of sony speakers and amp before and these blow them away i now have the av-htbs hooked up to an onkyo tx sr 507 and the sound is great . i am not the most experienced audiophile but for the money they cant be beat
.

:D
Nothing personal, what you did is go from a $2.00 speaker to a $5.00 speaker, they should sound better. Like I said don't take this personal.

I was doing some soul searching and I know that I owe you an apology. I should have never trashed your speakers, that was not intention at all. IMO for the $200.-- you spend you could have picked up a better sounding speaker, Behringer for instance. I do hope you accept my apology.

Just curious. Are you saying that you can get two floorstanders, a center and two surrounds by Behringer for $200.00? Not that I have any allegiance to Fluance, I am just wondering.

You are so right, I can't think of any speaker company that sells 2 floorstanders, a center and two surrounds for $200.--.

I've had the $199 set of fluance speakers for about a year now. I've used them so much I've got my values worth already, love em.

I have had these for the last 6 years. I would say they have performed very well. They costed me 300 for 6 speaker set up. Man the twoer were rate 300 watts at 8ohms. I used a onkyo 601. they have never once bottomed out. It is funny to hear people talk **** about a speaker they have never heard just because of the price. My towers have two 8" woofers. I still have them right now and they still sound good. I have onkyo 805 that replaced my 601. I just picked it up and they sound even better. I also have them connected with 12ga speaker wire. I am going to replace them after six years with some Ascends or Emotivas. So for your budget get them and enjoys them.
