Floor Stand For LCD TVs

I want to put some LCD screens on my floor in the office. I have some extra LCDs and I want to run some cool videos on them around the office. The walls already have screens and this would be kind of different.

I found this stand:
Da-Lite 6801 Manual Confidence Monitor Stand (Black) MPS-MCM B&H

Obviously I'd build an enclosure (vented) around it to hide the guts, but man is that expensive.

Anyone know of any other options? DIY is fine for at home, but for the office I can't justify the time of DIY hehe...so I has to be like this and off the shelf.

Figured you guys might have some ideas. :)

*Edit* Oh, the LCDs are 65"

Sorry I can't get by the part where you say you have extra 65" lcd's ....

You think that is expensive? The one from Salamander is $600 and doesn't have wheels :)

All of the inexpensive ones I've seen won't handle a 65" display.

I don't think that it is expensive for the framework and guts for a high quality rolling large display mount. While we have a lot of 'cheap' options for things out there, I just don't see a rolling floor TV mount as being something which can be done inexpensively and still meet safety codes adequately.

You could always go with a rolling floor stand and bolt a TV mount to it - check out Entertainment Centers, TV Stands, Corner TV Stands, Speaker Stands & Home Theater Seating for some ideas there.

Sorry for the delay, crazy week.

Your right, I ultimately ordered the Da-Lite. I looked at building it, but it's just more money to use my guys for that.

Thanks for all your replies. Yes, I actually have five extra TVs, the 65" is what I want to floor mount. The others are 60" LCDs that I'm using in a four screen array. There is lots of ambient light in my lobby, so projection doesn't make sense. I'm going to use a GOBO to project my logo with focused light on the floor, but the TV wall will be a 120" 2x2 matrix (which actually expensive an a pain in the *** to to, lol, but I think it will look cool).

LCDs are so cheap and kind of passe that you have to do interesting things with them in a lobby for them to have an impact.

Also may be shooting some footage on the RED ONE camera in the future so that I can use 4k (which the matrix renderer I'm buying will accept). The RED cams have come down a lot in rental costs, only about 1,500 a day or so locally (upside of being based in Miami).

I'll snap some photos when this is all done. :)

The Church I work for has four TV's on "carts" and they are made by a company called BOLTZ.
I can tell you we move these TV's everyday and the carts work great and are of high quality. Good luck.
