Flat Panel Speaker recommendations

Hello all,

I would like to upgrade my bose speaker system to flat panel speakers.

I think two would look cool above my plasma. They will fill up the wall. One placed below the plasma would look nice for the center channel.

Any recommendations on some good panel speakers. They don not have to be recessed into the wall.

I'm looking at a 2,000 budget on speakers only.

Speaker upgrade

New speakers will definately be an upgrade from the Bose. On that narrow wall you wont get good imaging and surround sound from 3 speakers mounted right next to each other.

I would recommend two bookshelf speakers on stands or wall mounts on each side of the TV and a center channel mounted above the TV.

Also clarify whether your budget is for 5.0 speakers, 5.1, 7.1, etc.

7.1 is what I'm shooting for. My receiver is 7.1 compatible.

Yes I wouldn’t get good channel separation being so close to each other but there is no room on the floor to position speakers.

I can mount on the ceiling if needed.

Okay 2,500 budget haha.
