Finally got back to the studio from travelling.
This is from my first painting session of 2011, which is going to be a year of artistic growth, advancement of technique and a honing of style (through dedicated force!).
Done in one sitting yesterday. It is definitely much smaller than the wall sized paintings I am used to doing, but I need to take a step back and make every painting more focussed and an exercise in expansion.

An illustrated (characiture) portrait of my muse. After long discussions of content and technique and career direction with her, I always feel more inspired to push the boundaries of my thought processes and abilities as an artist in all the mediums I work in. This is of course, Michelle, my wife-to-be.

I've never really shared any of my work here with you guys, so I figured 2011 is a good place to start.
