Zipper Announces First MAG DLC

Developer says The Trooper Gear Pack is the first of many to come.
The first DLC for Zipper's PS3 massive multiplayer shooter MAG drops next week, bringing new weapons, equipment, and uniforms to rookie and veteran faction members worldwide free of charge.
The Trooper Gear Pack, available March 25, introduces Flashbang grenades to the game, something the team at Zipper said the MAG community has oft-requested, and each faction will receive its own special edition Light Machine Gun. The weapons are performance-adjusted and will give a new look to Raven, Valor, and SVER LMGs. Finally, two new uniforms, Trooper Dark and Trooper Light, will make it easier for players to blend in with urban and interior environments.
"The best part of the Trooper Gear Pack? It's just the beginning of our ongoing commitment to MAG," Zipper's Community Manager Jeremy Dunham stated in a post on the PlayStation Blog. "In the coming months, you can expect to see plenty of other add-ons and goodies that we can't quite tell you about yet (but know you'll enjoy)."
In addition to the DLC, Zipper announced a double experience points promotion, kicking off on Friday, March 26 and running all weekend long.
