Firmware upgrade

When I get my bd player I will take it to the computer and perform a firmware upgrade before setting it up with the tv, etc. I guess the manual will have instructions, but how will I set it up to the PC? Well, besides the obvious of plugging in the ethernet cable...is that all I need to view the players menu on the monitor?

An easier way would be to download it and burn it to disc.

I upgraded with disk. Upgrading from disk is very easy and went without a hitch.
