I don't know about the PS3, but I used to leave my PS2 running for weeks at a time because I couldn't be bothered waiting for it to load up.
And no, it never let me down!

that's good to hear ... i guess people can't charge their controllers without leaving the PS3 on ...

Don't worry about leaving the ps3 on. I have a friend who has had his folding for the past month straight...no problems.

Also, you can just plug the usb cable into your computer to charge the remote if you don't want to leave your ps3 on.

I concur avaserfi - I left my PS3 on for 3 days (paused on resistance - superhuman) and before shutting it down I felt the back and it still was only slightly warm, Sony definitely knows how to build hardware, wish I could say the same for Microsoft
