What version of IE are you using? Also what Service Pack? I see this issue when I use IE 6.0 with SP1 but not with SP2.

Using XP pro with service pack 2, It doesnt show with firefox but when i looked in IE it does, and here's the about for that version.

I also have some trouble accessing the site.

Everytime i navigate to the main page today (audioholics.com) with Internet Explorer, i get the following popup (attached)
I've also run into this, but it's a bit odd. A couple of weeks back I upgraded to IE7 from IE6 on a couple of my home PCs. On one PC, I can access the site normally. On the other PC, and here's where it gets strange, I've got two user accounts setup. I get a simlar dialog box when attempting to visit the site when logged on as one user; the other user account can access the site normally.

I've checked everything I know to check and cannot resolve this. Both PCs are behind a DLink router.

I can access the site normally on my laptop as well, be it at home or at the office.

It's very frustrating. Any ideas anyone?

TIA,
Kruncher

Are you behind a company firewall and using IE? If so, try using Firefox or try from another computer with no firewall. thanks.
Yes, IE6, firewall, and proxy. When i click ok, my PC downloaded a file called audioholics onto my desktop. I don't think the firewall is the problem, as i can download just about anything/browse to any site (except audioholics), use AIM, etc. Unless you are using a non standard port...(i.e. not port 80)

I'll try Firefox tomorrow.

$7,500 Video Centric System

Under the speakers section you list RBH Sound MC series speakers but the description is for NHT speakers.

$12,000 Video Centric System

Under the Projector you list the HD7100 but in the second paragraph it states "The PE7700 has an advertised contrast ratio of 5000:1"

Under the screen section you refer to the PE7700 but the HD7100 is the recommended projector above.

Recommended Systems

Page numbering isn't consistent. Under the $25,000 the second page is referred to as Page2. Under the $12,000 system the second page has no number but the third page is referred to as P2.

$7,500 Video Centric System

Under the HD DVD section is says:

"Calm down, we're not officially supporting any particular format over another. but at this budget, it makes almost no sense to select a standard definition DVD player that upconverts to HDMI when you can get an HD DVD player that does the same thing and allow syou to get all the 720p glory from your new display."

The B in but need to be capitalized and it should be "allows you".

A couple things that aren't bugs. On the recommended systems to buy page. The systems are layed out from most expensive down to least expensive(or it appears that way). But than at the bottom is the $12k HTS which appears to be out of place.
Under News and Opinions, selecting "About Audioholics" takes you to a page that has the link to "About Audioholics". It would seem that selecting About Audioholics the first time should take you to the About Audioholics article

I'm feeling kind of bad nitpicking someone's hard work. I have just recently found this site and it is a awesome site.

1) In the drop down menus there is a gap between the button and the menu itself, if you mouse over too slow you hit the gap and the dropdown menu goes back.

2) On page:

http://www.audioholics.com/groups/admin/legal/

There is no link for the legal notices, but if you don't have any...

3) not a true bug but...

http://www.audioholics.com/groups/admin/client-advertising-testimonials-fro-audioholics

in the link itself it should be -for- not -fro-

4) http://www.audioholics.com/tweaks/calibrate-your-system/home-theater-set-up-basics-101/image/image_view_fullscreen

It does not give a larger image

The biggest problem that I have is the lack of the professional reviews from the old site. For example, I tried to find the HSU STB-2 review (referenced in the $1000 recommendation system guide). No luck. Perhaps you could just have one page that lists all the equipment you've every tested (like the old site) so we could search for the article. Because speakers change so infrequently I don't think they become obsolete.

Every review from the old site is here. We actually never reviewed a STF(sic)-2 sub (though we did review the STF-1)

The search system will quickly bring up all reviews we've done and rest assured all our old reviews made it over! :)

UPDATE: This problem which prevented me from visiting the site on this PC (logged on under the problematic user account) has been fixed! I can now visit the site normally.

Count one more bug squashed. Well done guys!
