Your GF might buy that, but you've got to know that know of us do. :p
Honest Injun' I thought I had run low :D I'm not quite sure how I'm going to get this Salamander rack by her though

Use it to display the flowers and chocolate.

Come on, man - you get a discount! :D
No discount on the rack per se, just the price I'm paying Newbie when I meet him this weekend.

Next step is to grab my sub drivers from home over thanksgiving.

So this was a lot bigger than I thought it would be. It dwarfs even the Cinepro 3K6SE.

Looks like you need to buy at least two new components to cover those shelves. Just sayin'.

Well there's also another shelf so I could leave it as is and buy two more or add the other shelf and have space for 3 more :D

I also may have pre-ordered my way into another project, but that's a story for another thread.

Nice rack ... had to be said. That's the 130 lb beast?

I'm boxing up my Aragon 2007 and hauling it with a hand truck. No stair climber but only 6 or 7 steps.

I just remembered Walter's A/C straining to dump the heat thrown off by his 5 channel ... I think it made the street lights dim. :D

Yea that's it. What a PITA getting it on the stand. It's heavy and awkward to maneuver, but trying to fit it in between the 4 posts was impossible. I ended up having to tip the amp up and slide the stand underneath.

I never want to have to move this thing ever again. I thought some of my other amps were heavy, but this puts them all to shame.

I need an extra A/C in this room with the PJ, Marantz, sub amp, Cinepro, and Adcom all throwing a ton of heat. At least my Cinepro has fans on the heat sinks so they don't burn anything, unlike Walter's which left singe marks on the glass shelf it sits on.

How does that not spell maniac?

Fans? That can't be good. I'm big on the low noise floor from the equipment thing. I know it doesn't matter when you are actually listening to almost anything but ... you know.

Have you made it out to Walter's to check out his newest Source Speakers?

Maybe they're synonyms :D

Actually, I've never ever heard the Cinepro fans come on. They really did a good job of making sure you never hear those. Now that I have the Adcom, I don't use the Peavey to drive the center anymore and that was really the only source of major fan noise. Sometimes the sub amp mini-fan comes on, but it's usually at a point when I wouldn't be able to hear it anyways.

I'm indifferent towards the fan noise I have now, but part of the influencing factor in getting the Adcom was to get the Peavey out of the picture until I can do a fan mod on it.

I was over there awhile ago before I moved and got to see and hear them. Great speakers and an interesting design. The finish is really well done and they sound great. Acoustic memory being what it is, I can only tell you I remember thinking that they were somewhere in between the Source Tri-line speakers I have and the Phil 3's. Lacking the refinement and a little of the openness of the Phil's, but completely able to get crazy loud without distortion. So, perfect for Walter.

Looking good dude. Where is the new moniter? :)
Should he delivered tomorrow. I'll still be home until Saturday so I'll get it when I get back. I'm thinking of ordering another Ergatron mount for this new one,but we'll see.
