Did you get it yet? There weren't that many in stock?? Merry Christams
Apparently they had 2000 units for sale on line and sold out by midnight, but released a few more units the next day. I had no problem getting my order in but it was a rather slow process, so I continued to shop and threw lab top into my cart as well . I can't wait for the master card bill cause its gonna be HUGE, mainly though because our Disney vacation will be on there.:D

I guess you didn't see my new sig, Bill:)

Now if I can just convince you to get a few Yamaha P2500S or P3500S amplifiers and have all outboard amplification - SERIOUS outboard amplification.

You know you wanna'.....

Lol... maybe after we pay for the trip. On second thought, it wouldn't be asking to much for a dad to get a reprieve and have the opportunity to check out the local audio shops in the Orlando area:D. Afterall we'll be there for a entire week, it couldn't hurt:eek:. BTW that sure is a nice rack and I love the turntable.:)

Well I finally got the new receiver on Monday and I decided to do a complete clean re-installation, since I was back there. I've read some peoples comments regarding Yamaha's sound as being on the bright side:rolleyes:! Well I can safely attest to that myth, that its SQ is on par with with Denon and for me that is a positive thing. My only issue was getting use to the Yamaha's user menu interface( which imo was the difficult part), over that of my 3805, but once I was comfortable everything was rather easy(still like Denons better though). What really impressed me about this unit was its upscale ability to send out the incoming signals via hdmi, this was very useful and least we forget, finally seeing Dolby True HD or DTS HD-MA made all this worthwhile:D.

Regards, Bill:)
