I'd never heard of the Framed brand until now. Not much info there, wonder if they're an offshoot of guys from QBP or something since they're a Minneapolis based company. The pricing is attractive but they're using a generic frameset and cheap components to get there; the Marquette is more interesting than the Minnesota, though depends what wheelset you want to run (the Minnesota being a fat bike, the Marquette a 27.5+). I'd get at least a good brake set but I use bikes on steep terrain and an Avid BB5 just wouldn't cut it for me (or pretty much anything Tektro brand); I still use Avid BB7s on several bikes but there's a distinct difference between the models. These days the introductory hydraulic brakes would be better. I suppose for light duty these bikes might work okay, though.
The side note bike almost made me puke
Damn that's ugly. Whitewalls? No.
Hmmm wonder if they're trying to get some mileage out of the pseudo PK Ripper name on that big bmx bike....
