Faster Android Phone?

If a guy was to look for a new Android phone, what do you look for if you want a super fast processor? It would be a tax write off, since I need it for my job and I am an independent contractor. I currently have a Galaxy A12 and it is very sluggish with the software we use. For a home computer, you look for RAM, what about a phone? Also prefer one with a wireless charger.

I own a Pixel 8 with a 128 GB RAM, and I'm rather satisfied with its performance. The advantage with this brand is that you're not subjected to ridiculous adds which you get with both Apple and Samsung. It's operating software is regularly updated, and it has an amazing camera.

With regard to the Samsung brand, they now have budget phones which come with integrated spyware which you cannot remove. For me, it's a brand now to avoid:

Budget Samsung phones shipped with unremovable spyware, say researchers

Samsung is under fire again for shipping phones in parts of the world with a hidden system app, AppCloud, that users can’t easily remove.

Looks like the Google Pixel 9a with 128 MB has the specs that would be far, far better than my Samsung. Thx for the tip! I wasn't sure what to look for as far as Ram. Turns out the more storage, you have more available or useable RAM.

The spec. you need to be looking at is processing speed. For your purposes 2 to 2.5 GHz should be adequate enough for you.

At least the S series is still clean, but it's still worrisome. I've gotten the middle S model after one year of their release and have been very satisfied, I might to rethink that.

I just bought a new 128 gb Google Pixel 9a. @TLS Guy , what amount of RAM do you figure I am dealing with on my Samsung A12 with 32 gb of memory? Just a heinous amount of software crashing, very sluggish, just a pain in the a$$. Hopefully the 9a will be a huge improvement

My sister's roomie is a phone geek and recommended the Pixel to me, I got a 7a a while back and its very nice. Samsung was definitely not as good on my last few tries with that brand.
