Now you are talkin!

I think you will be happier. Yes it's heavier, larger, but what you described... you will enjoy a ported Sub more. :D

Also is the £500 extra to go from SB to PB really worth it?

At the end of the day all i care about is the sound it produces. So if the PB is going to give more of a slam to my music. I will change over asap

Well, we did try to sell you on a pair of PB3000... so the value decision is something you have to determine for yourself. Sorry, Mate.
That said, I would not buy Sealed unless I was in a smaller room and could afford 3 of whichever I chose. :) The cabin gain in a 3000cu'ft room with 3-4 good 15" Sealed Subs like the Hsu ULS-15 would be pretty flippin' fantastic.
But even then, If I could get 2 or 3 really well designed Ported Subs and a pair of very capable Mains... I'd still probably go that route.

Maybe one day i can upgrade to dual pb16s. But this wil do for now!. I am sure my house will be rocking with this single. And the Dali k14.

Will call shop tomorow morning. And should have that changed out from an SB to PB by monday. The PB16 is a monster. If it makes more sound , i am having it !!

Thanks ryan

If there is no difference between the sb & pb . Why go for the bigger enclosure what costs £500 more?
Who told you there's no difference? There's a very significant difference with SB making compromises to be a smaller box. Ported box will almost always outperform sealed. The ONLY advantage with sealed is size.

If PB is the better option. i am changing it tomorow ! Haha
Hope it's not too late, tho SVS will probably work with you. You do have the 45 day trial, but yes. Always go ported if you have the room.

Appologies everyone for being late on an update , i arrived home from a 10 week trip offshore on the oil rigs. To find my house had a serious flood on going for a number of weeks before the main water line was shut off. Basicslly opened my front door to a water fountain inside. About 50% of the house all damaged

Luckly my sound equipment and tvs were in a room untoched. Thank god

So the room i planned to put my cinema was totally ruined , so i currently set my sound system up today , and it is set up in my spare lounge as a temporarily set up.

HERE is some photos attacthed to let you see the PB next too my other equipment.

I will need to tune this system up this week

Nice place. However, that PB16 sub placement is not very good. It is creating a very significant source of diffraction for the right speaker. I would get it out of the way of that speaker, it is just too big.
