Essence HDA11 DAC with HDMI Input

I still have a Denon DVD 3910 working on it's second laser. It works great with SACDs and DVD Audio, buy regular cds don't work any more. It's an oldie and not sure how long it will last and not worth putting in another laser. That's all I use it for anyway since I have a Musical Fidelity M1 CDT that's just a cd transport. I use the Musical Fidelity transport straight into my Hegel H190 (Integrated amp with no hdmi input). Anyway, I also have a Denon DBT 1713ud and it might be better to use that as a transport to do SACDs and DVD Audio. Now there is finally a cheaper DAC with a HDMI input. What's your opinion on this? I'm sure the Sabre dac is way better than the one in the 1713. Also, probably implemented better too.
